It is with heavy hearts we say farewell to Hayden. The good news is, that Shaun, the bass player Hayden replaced, will be returning to the band and replacing Hayden. Confused? Us too.
It was a comparatively short gig at Metal Mania 2010 for Driven.
Following the bikini competition and the wet T-shirt comp, Driven braved the baking sun, wishing they could dress in the same standard as the competitors had been previous (perhaps bikinis would have been a better choice after all?). With the sun beating down, many spectators were hiding in the shaded bar, but those that were truly hard (or perhaps just drunk) stayed out in the sun to enjoy the entertainment.
That was the most common response to the location of Driven's Halloween Gig.
Galatea is a small farming community a little out of Murupara. The village itself seems to consist of an RSA (The Galatea Memorial Club), a Transport Company, a Farm Supplies Company, and a handful of houses. (Just the one hand will do)
It took some time but we finally managed to source a new Hard Drive for the DR8 Multitrack Recorder. The machine is formatted and ready to record our music again.
